Upper Perkiomen Domestic Violence Task Force
HISTORY
The task force was established in 1992 as a partnership initiative
between The Open Line, The women's Center of Montgomery County,
and The Upper Perkiomen Business and Professional Women's Club.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Upper Perkiomen Domestic Violence Task Force is a community-based
coalition of agencies and individuals dedicated to the elimination
of domestic violence through advocacy, intervention and education.

We meet the first Wednesday of February, April, June, August,
October and December at 8:00 AM at The Open Line building, located
at 452 Penn Street in Pennsburg, PA 18073.
Recent activities sponsored by the UPDVTF include:
Horse and carriage rides and T-shirt painting at Community
Day.
An awareness banner hanging about Main Street in Pennsburg
in October for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The Yellow Dress performance about healthy and unhealthy dating
relationships, held at New Goshenhoppen U.C.C. in East Greenville.
Purple Ribbon Scholarships awarded to a graduating senior
from the UPHS.
